Featuring a distinctive silhouette and a comfortably sloped seat, this form-pressed solid wood chair is visually and physically inviting. Its angled legs and beveled edges resemble the shaped cutting edge of a chisel, thus the chair’s name.

HAY provides a 5-year product warranty, which covers materials and workmanship on our furniture frame and upholstery. The warranty covers faults which were present at the time of purchase or which have occurred as a result of defects present at the time of purchase. The warranty period of 5 years is calculated from the date on the original invoice.

Andreas Bergsaker
Andreas Bergsaker (b. 1990) is a Norwegian product designer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated with a master degree in Product Design from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) in 2015. His work covers different everyday objects, designed for product longevity and generations to come. His designs are rooted in the exploration of material and shape, and referencing cultural heritage with an emphasis on traditional craftsmanship, industrial production processes and tactile qualities. His work has led to exhibitions in London, Milan, New York, Oslo and Stockholm.
